Caitlynn's family were murdered in front of her when she was fourteen. Driven by her promise to her dead father and a burning need for justice in a world where it belongs only to the rich, she embarks on a change that will eventually affect the lives of hundreds.
A change that ultimately takes her to the Far Coast to avoid the horrors of House politics in Parrmentia, and the lethal interest of Duchess Alicia.
